Roasted Rice
flour(Kozhukattai maavu) -1 cup

Hot water - needed

Mustard seeds
-1/4 tspn

Urud dhal -1/4

Idly milagai podi
needed

Red chilli -2 nos
|
Cumin seeds -1/4
tspn
|
Salt to taste
|
Gingelly oil -
needed
|
Bengal
gram/Channa dhal/Kadalai paruppu -1 tspn

Curry leaves

Method :

- Boil the water with salt.
- Take a bowl, add rice flour with boiled water and stir well without lumps.
- Heat a tawa with little oil add the above dough and stir well for sometime.
- Now switch the stove and roll the dough into small balls as shown in the picture.
- Place the balls in idly cooker and cook for 10 mints.
- Heat a tawa with little oil saute with red chilli,channa dhal,urud dhal, mustard and curry leaves.
- Add the cooked balls in it and shake well.
- Sprinkle idly milagai podi as required and shake well.
- Ammini kozhukattai is ready .
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with chutney.
- Easy to prepare, quick evening recipe.
