Madurai Kari Dosai (Mutton Kheema dosa) |
Ingredients:
Dosai Batter -2 cup
Egg -2
Mutton curry kheema -1 cup
Gingelly oil or ghee -needed
Preparation of Mutton curry keema :
Ingredients:
Minced mutton -250 gms
Onion - finely chopped - 1 nos
Tomato - finely chopped - 1 nos
Ginger- garlic paste - 1 tspn
Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
Coriander -1 tspn
Red Chillies - 3 nos
Turmeric powder - a small pinch
Garam masala powder -1/4 tspn
Pepper -1/2 tspn
Curry leaves needed
Coriander leaves to Garnish
Salt to taste
Oil needed
Method:
Prepare masala by roasting and grinding red
chillies, grated coconut, coriander seeds, pepper and curry leaves.
Heat the cooker with oil.
Add onion, ginger garlic paste and saute it
well.
Add tomatoes and saute well.
Add minced mutton and add masalas and saute
well.
Add little quantity of water and close the
lid and cook it for 3 whistles.
Open the lid and add curry leaves and
coriander leaves.
If any excess water is found heat the gravy
in a low flame to get semi solid keema.
Mutton kheema is ready.
Preparation of mutton kheema dosai :
Heat the dosa tawa
and prepare dosai.
Mix the egg with mutton kheema and blend it
well.
Pour the mutton kheema egg mixture above the
dosa to form a layer.
Add ghee or oil.
Cover the tawa with a lid for one minute in
a low flame.
Flip the dosai after one minute and cook on
other side for one minute.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
