Mysore Pak / Diwali Sweets Recipe
Ingredients :

Besan flour / Kadalai maavu -1 cup
Sugar - 2 1/2 cups
Ghee - 2 cups
Water - 1cup
Sieve besan flour.
  • Add 2 table spoon of ghee with the flour and roast it for 5 mints in a low flame.
Again sieve this and keep aside.
  • Meantime heat the balance ghee in a pan.
  • Grease the mysore pak tray with ghee and keep ready.
Heat  a pan with sugar and water till one string consistency.
Heat  a pan with sugar and water till one string consistency. Sugar syrup is ready.
  • Now add sieved roasted besan flour gradually to the sugar syrup and stir constantly.
  • Make sure that no lumps formed.
  • Add hot ghee simultaneously and stir well with a stirrer.
                    
  • Stir well till the mixture non-sticky with the pan.
  • Add remaining ghee, stir well and pour the mixture to mysore pak tray.
  • Set it to cool for sometime.
  • Now cut the mysore pak with a sharp knife in to required shapes.
Softy ,Tasty ,Yummy Mysore Pak  is ready.
