Egg - Cauliflower Omelette / Cauliflower Egg Omelette

Egg - Cauliflower Omelette


Ingredients :

Cauliflower - 1 no 
Egg -5 nos
Onion - 2 small 
Green chilli - 1 no
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Turmeric powder - a pinch 
Salt to taste
Coconut oil needed
Coriander leaves needed 

 Method :

Cut the cauliflower into small florets and soak for 5 mints in lukewarm water, add little salt and turmeric .

Chop onion, green chillies and coriander leaves in to small pieces.

Add egg, pepper powder,salt,onion,green chillies, coriander leaves and beat well.

Add cauliflower florets to the mixture and mix well.

Spread the mixture in a tawa and toast well. 

Finally sprinkle pepper powder and serve hot. 

Egg cauliflower omelette is ready to serve.

Serve hot with sauce.

Karunai kizhangu roast Recipe / Yam Roast

Karunai kizhangu roast

Ingredients : 
Karunai kizhangu - 1/2 kg
Tamarind water -100 ml 
Chilli powder - 1 tspn 
Coriander powder - 1 tspn 
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tspn
Garam masala - 1/2 tspn 
Salt to taste 
Coconut Oil needed.

Method : 

Peel off the skin.
Slice the kizhangu in to thin round pieces. 
Blanch it in a cooker.
Mean time prepare a paste by mixing chilli powder, coriander powder,garam masala,salt and turmeric powder with tamarind juice. 
Coat the blanched slices with the paste. 
Refrigerate for 10 mints. 
Fry to golden brown using coconut oil. 
Tasty yummy karunai kizhangu is ready.
Ideal for rice varieties.

Ingredients :

Apple - 15 pieces
Pomegranate - 1/2 cup
Orange - 1/2 cup
Papaya - 10 pieces
Water melon - 15 pieces
Pineapple - 15 pieces
Chat masala - 1/2 tbspn
Lemon juice - 1 no
Sugar - 1tspn
Salt needed

Egg Bhurji

Egg Bhurji Bread Sandwich

Ingredients :

Egg
6 nos
Chopped Onion
3 nos
Chopped Tomato
2 nos
Green chilli
2 nos
Turmeric powder
1/2 tspn
Chilli powder
1/2 tspn
Pepper powder
1 tspn
Coriander powder
1/4 tspn
Curry leaves
Needed
Mustard seeds
1/2 tspn
Urud dhal
1/2 tspn
Salt
To taste


Method :

*******

  • Heat a pan with little oil and saute with mustard, urud dhal and curry leaves.

  • Add green chillies, chopped onion and saute well.

  • Add tomato and saute till it turns mushy.

  • Add turmeric, chilli powder, coriander and salt to taste and mix well.

  • Beat the egg with a beater and add it to the mixture.
  • Stir constantly and continuously so that egg mixes thoroughly.

  • Saute for few minutes.

  • Add pepper powder and saute few more minutes till the mixture becomes dry and crispy.

  • Egg burji is ready.

Ingredients :

Wheat Flour - 1 cup
Gram flour -1 tspn
Methi Leaves -1 cup
Chilli powder -1/4 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Amateur powder - 1 tspn
Oil / ghee needed
Salt to taste

Method :

  • Wash and clean methi leaves.

  • Mix all the ingredients add required water and a spoon of oil and prepare the dough to chapatti batter consistency.

  • Keep for 15 minits.

  • Roll the batter into small chapattis.

  • Grease with oil/ghee toast well in a tawa.

  • Methi chapatti is ready.

  • Seve hot with veg salad or onion raita.
