Ammini Kozhukattai Recipe / Mani Kozhukattai Recipe

Ammini Kozhukattai / Mani Kozhukattai

  • Boil the water with salt.

  • Take a bowl, add rice flour with boiled water and stir well without lumps.

  • Heat a tawa with little oil add the above dough and stir well for sometime.

Now switch the stove and roll the dough into small balls as shown in the picture.

Place the balls in idly cooker and cook for 10 mints.

Mustard seeds -1/4 tspn
Urud dhal -1/4 tspn
Idly milagai podi needed
Red chilli -2 nos
Cumin seeds -1/4 tspn
Salt to taste
Gingelly oil  - needed
Bengal gram/Channa dhal/Kadalai paruppu -1 tspn
Curry leaves needed
  • Heat a tawa with little oil saute with red chilli,channa dhal,urud dhal, mustard and curry leaves.

  • Add the cooked balls in it and shake well.

Sprinkle idly milagai podi as required and shake well.
